I don't think it's weired...my husband and I dont...his father never did either plus while he was in the navy...he couldn't wear one for the job he had. I have my set but doesn't fit anymore and just haven't resized them. we have been together over 11 years married for 9 and it's not a huge deal for us...eventually we might get a new set but any extra money we have goes into remodeling our home.

my husband and I don't wear our rings, my husband severely broke his wrist last year while he was working and his ring almost had to be cut off but even now it still won't fit on his finger... my fingers are too fat now to fit my rings lol

my hubby & I & our church family don't wear jewelry. so none of us wear wedding rings. it is biblical, maybe that's why they don't.

MIL only does now since she begged her husband for their 25th anniversary for an upgraded diamond from 1/3 caret to a 1/2 caret. she doesn't wear a band though and she don't take care of her ring at all it's a solitar and it's gross (doesn't clean it at all). My grandmother and grand father still wear theirs (i would love to inherit her set it's the old miners cut diamond and setting)

Some people are greedy about the size (like my mil). my mom still has her wedding set even after being divorced for 18 years. Just somethings you don't let go of no matter what.
