2 weeks time and im classed as full term, would it be a bad thing if i started trying home methods to bring on labour or…

im also 39 weeks 3rd pregnancy i have tried everything with all my pregnancies but nothing has ever worked.. only one thing the midwife giving me an induction day both my children have come the day before so i didnt have to go through with it thank god... i even tried milk and orange juice mixed together last night but i STRONGLY advise NOT to try it 😷 i am gonna enjoy the next two weeks after saturday which is when i shall start my maternity leave... its only when your baby is ready and it will suprise you lol xxx

I'm 39 weeks now and been trying everything from 37 weeks, I do believe baby will come when baby is ready but no harm in trying to help the process along, if you look at my page for the past week or so I've been thinking my waters may possibly be leaking but most the time it's just me weeing myself😂😂😂 but yeah go for it and have fun with it, just try not to get stressed if it doesn't happen xxxx

@danielleallen110, yeah midwifes told me he's engaged and ready just a waiting game! but there's no harm in doing things to try xxx

Yeh it's not pleasant when you've had issues. I had a lovely 1st pregnancy (apart from going overdue!) but 2nd time has been a different story! I'm glad I had a good 1st experience or I may not have had another! Lol I just worry women that try everything & still get frustrated that babies not come. It can't be good for baby or mother. Nature has a way of doing things it's own way!

midwife told me baby only comes when the body is fully rested and ready so all I did was sleep, he came on his due date, make the most of the peace lol x

thanks @syrennajade my body is ready as midwife told me that i could go into labour at anytime when they done the speclum test the second time round its just when haha, is it possible though that these speclum tests can be false? as this was done a few weeks ago xx

thanks @sara-lou my midwife told me i can try anything from about now apart from caster oil which i wouldnt do anyway, knowing my luck it wouldnt work and i would go over pmsl😂😂 ive had a rough pregnancy so far, been ill throughout and had some complications so i havent enjoyed none of it, only part i enjoy is when baby is moving but thats it lol, im envious of women who enjoy theyre pregnancy, hopefully something will work, if not thats fine too☺ still awaiting my midwife to speak to me about my section though so that could be a possibilty x

I personally don't understand trying to induce labour from so early @danielleallen110 I get not wanting to go over due date BELIEVE me. I went over 12days with my first & I'm 40+1 now with my 2nd. It's uncomfortable & I wanna meet my baby but I also don't believe all the old wives tales as I did them all last time 😂 I truly believe they will come when their ready. And I want to treasure every moment I'm pregnant before he's here as it goes so quick! But it's your body & you will do what you want, it doesn't matter what we think. As long as what you do is safe.

you're not rushing him your body will only go into labour if it's ready. therefore trying things will only work if your body is ready! I deffo say get trying hun even my midwife said do safe things and if it works it works from full term! no worries hun I'm due 7th August so we're due around the same time! xxx

DO NOT let anyone judge you for trying! I started at 36 weeks bouncing on my ball, long walks, sex and I'm still trying soon to be 37 weeks in 3 days! xxx
