thank you @valrocks yes you can not drive yourself crazy over it @jackscatss and I'm not saying the other mom's are wrong bc every mom parents differently and there is no right or wrong. When I first had my son, it used to break my heart to hear him cry but honestly when his needs were met, letting him cry was the best option. I'd put his baby Mozart music on and let him be while I got done what I needed to get done. when they say your motherly instincts will kick in, it will. you'll know what to do or what you think is best. I hope everyone's advice and opinions have helped you and don't allow yourself to get caught up with what society thinks is best and allow them to be judgmental.
I'm with @nessa_475 on this one. Sometimes you have to put your baby down and walk away.
babies will cry, it's normal. When my son has been fed, changed and burped and rocked and nothing is working I let him cry it out to tire himself out. he also doesn't nap for very long during the day and I know he's jus tired cuz he fights his naps. your not a bad mom for letting them cry it out. you as a mom will know what's best for child. sometimes there's nothing you can do for your baby and it's OK to let them cry. you will figure it out as you go and you will figure out what works best for you and baby. letting the cry will not harm them. I still show just as much love and affection to my son as any other mom. just remember every mom parents differently and there is no right or wrong. It's not the end of the world if a baby crys it out, trust me lol so don't feel bad if you have to let your LO cry.
I don't think there is ever a good reason or time to let them do that. If you feel frustrated you step out for a few minutes and calm down, but it's bad to have them cry themselves to sleep.
@kaylaskibinski, @aubree1993 aww yea that is heartbreaking :/ someone gave me the advice today and I was trying to figure out if there's ever a time where you do actually do it
^^^ this definitely. They aren't old enough to understand manipulation if they cry, they need you and the reason they stop crying is because they think you're not going to come. It's really sad and I have never let my kids cry it out. It's too heartbreaking.
@jackscatss, you're welcome momma. If if you have any other questions feel free to msg me and you're more than welcomed to msg me on fb too
