It was just discharge and not my water again but I am now 70% and 1cm dilated instead of 70% and a finger tip. They also said his position was -2? whatever that means?

@carsonsmomma, okay. yeah the weird thing is I just had bloody piece come out of me. we have decided to wait because it could be from her reaching way up in there it looks like bloody show but I have no hopes up for it. I didn't even think I was in labor before we went but was being told to go by everyone including his grandmother who runs the maternity floor. It's just confusing 😓
I was -2 station until about 30 minutes before my son was born so it is like dialating it could happen at any rate or time
@emaleejoy, this is so confusing because my ob told me he was dropped but he's -2 according to the delivery nurse... thank you @kgreer and @carsonsmomma thats really helpful
Stations are how far your baby drops... Negative numbers typically means baby hasn't dropped yet! 0 is locked and loaded and ready to go and then positive 1 & 2 are pretty much when you're in labor but can happen beforehand too!

The -2 is what baby's "position" is, I think once you're at +1 you're ready to push
