Is getting your membranes stripped painful? My doctor said at my next appointment I'll be 40 weeks and she would do it if I wanted her to. She doesn't induce until 41 weeks. I didn't know if it was worth doing it or not. I'd rather go natural than have to be induced but I would really like to know if the pain is bearable.
@camdenjcomingsoon, I guess it depends on the woman because it was worth it for me because I was going to hit 40 weeks and they stripped my membranes at two days before I hit 40 weeks and I went into labor exactly when I hit 40 weeks because my water broke so it would be worth a shot
I just am trying to think if it's worth it. I'm very miserable though. I'm so so swollen and I can't walk around without limping and I have to walk so slow. She told me that pain won't go away until labor. I'm only 1cm dilated and 80% effaced. @babycharlie072016 @andiryan93 @leda.patterson32115
Thanks @camdenjcomingsoon... We're you effaced or starting to dialated at all @leda.patterson32115 and @babycharlie072016
I couldn't tell he did it to me. It just felt like a cervix check to me
Can you tag me when you get an answer
My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her ...
Please help!
My doctor is trying to induce me before 40 weeks because she's going to be off on my due date and says my placenta is starting to look old. How do I get labor started?? I don't want to be induced for no reason and I'm thinking I won't have a choice. Please help. What do I do to get things going?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know
the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
My question about the yoga ball was because I wanted to know if it would be worth the money to order at 36 weeks I'm not trying to induce labor now I know it's way too early
My water broke 24 hours after my membrane sweep I was 41weeks
