Steam the food first then blend, I made all my first borns food and will do the same with this baby. I didn't add water or breast milk, just puréed it really good. I also would do big batches of everything on Sunday's and freeze in ice cube trays, then you just defrost a little while before as needed

Boil or steam, then blend it up with water or another liquid baby has already had. I used leftover breastmilk. I read where using whatever baby is used to (formula, breastmilk, or both) can help with accepting new foods.

Boil said food (start off with veggies or fruit) until soft then put the food in the blender or what ever you have and add a little bight of the boiling water then just blend till smooth. Add more water if needed
