induction set for next week. what should i expect? any of u ladies that have gotten induced before?

I went from feeling fine to feeling like I was being slaughtered in a matter of minutes. When you labor naturally, the contractions gradually intensify. When you are induced, contractions are violently forced. My blood pressure went through the roof and I went into cardiac arrest, and almost died.

Labor for me only lasted about 6 hours after they started the pitocin. Contractions came quick. It was pretty easy. I got an epidural and about an hour after my son was born.

It's different for everyone :) my experience it was painful really painfully but I recently had my son without getting induced and since I experienced both I honestly rather get induced lol

Expect to be bored for hours. Sleep when you can before labor starts to happen.
