so my son turns 3 months next week and yesterday we notice his right eye had a little bit of "eye boogers" and today he still has some. he can open his eye but it just looks watery like if he was crying. should I call his pediatrician?

It's not always red. When I was still working as a nanny, the little boy I watched got it and it wasn't red. Just was very watery and had a ton of eye boogers but it wasn't red

It sounds like pink eye to me but it wouldn't hurt to call the pediatrician to find out for sure :)

My daughter ended up needing eye drops from a doctor because in a matter of one day it got worse. Hers started out like that too.
