- Hold baby close, supporting the neck, but allowing the head to move.

- Your baby needs to start with their nose opposite your nipple.

- Your baby's head should be free to tilt back.

- Baby comes in chin first.

- Wait for your baby to open their mouth really wide.

- Your baby should take a big mouthful o breast and your nipple just slips in under their upper lip.

- If your baby isn't attached properly insert your finger into the side of their mouth to break the latch and start again.
