I keep having bad dreams every night. I even wake up a few times throughout the night and fall back asleep with pretty much the same plot just different part of the dream 😯😞

I hated that part of my pregnancy.

I knew pregnant ladies dreamed but I never thought it would be nightmares every night 😭 @vannahjam14

It took me until almost my 3rd trimester to stop having nightly nightmares. they are extremely vivid and disturbing

@_jfelder_, I think it is- I remember when I was barely pregnant and I would post about having horrible dreams, I would get a lot of the same feed back. It eventually went away.

oh goodness! as I said, I never knew this was normal...Hopefully mine don't last this long. I normally don't remember any of my dreams @showersoverflowers

I think it has a lot to do with the changes our bodies are going through. pregnancy is stressful physically and emotionally. I definitely recommend doing something calming before bed. maybe try prenatal yoga!!!
Jessica·
I may have to especially if this keeps up, thank you @showersoverflowers

every night it's a different story but as I said, I wake up multiple times throughout the night, and once I fall back asleep it goes to the same story just a different point in the story @malinaa215

I used to wake up bawling. This time around they aren't as horrible as with my first. With him, I was under a lot of emotional distress due to his absent and when present emotionally abusive father. I would have dreams visualizing attacks by him, his friends, and his mother. They were devastating. I look back and those fears were completely valid at that time. Maybe these dreams are a sign of our mothering instincts kicking in?? Who knows.. All I know is that it only helps to try to remain as positive as possible

@malinaa215, thank you. @showersoverflowers, it's not to that point yet. I am very lucky that half the time I forget the dream within 20 minutes. It may be our motherly instincts although most of mine are very far stretched dreams. I agree, try to positive!
