Everyone should, there is risk of infection if you don't wait until the doctor checks to make sure you are fully healed and your cervix is closed. Not to mention you are far more likely to become pregnant right after birth!
I absolutely did. There's no good reason to risk an infection and / or pregnancy. You're soooo fertile after pregnancy. Just wait until you're all healed (even inside!) and when you're on birth control.
