I've been debating between c section and natural. Yes I know everybody will say "why would you even consider a c section?" Well because I can, and it's always what I've felt more comfortable with. I really feel like going natural is too fucking scary. Call me weak, judge me, whatever. But yes, I'm terrified of the thought of going natural but part of me wants to just do it. Every woman in my family has had emergency c sections, so all I've heard about was that. Can somebody talk to me about delivering vaginally?

Well by natural, I meant vaginally. My bad. I really don't think there's any way I could do it completely natural. But props to you for that !! I just want to know what the process is like. I know it's different for everybody but when it comes down to it, it's the same thing and I think there are certain things we feel and go through that are the same for everyone. And I just want to know what it's like. From labor, to pushing, to recovery. All I've heard are c section stories. I know it's a lot to ask someone to explain but, I wanna know what to expect! @cubanese

please try to have a vaginally delivery!!! i had a emergency c section, and almost died 4 days later. i know everyone is different. i was cut hip to hip. atleast 22" and the whole cut was infected with mrsa and i had a heartbeat of 200 when i went back into the er and i could barley move. i ended up in a bigger hospital with antibiotics 24/7 and my son couldnt be there :( and they wanted to give me a wound vac and i refused like a dumbass and had to have a nurse come to my house for 8 weeks to clean it out and burn my skin so it would close properly and i now cant have a vbac. like i said i know everyone is different but i wouldnt wish it on anyone!!!

I know this may be personal but what I think I'm worried about the most is having to be stitched up. What is it like afterwards? If you don't mind. Like sitting down, going to the restroom, keeping it clean.. @cubanese If you mind getting personal I understand.

That's the craziest story I've heard😣 I'm sorry you had to go through that! What was the reason for the emergency c section ? @korahleah_11

I had both my girls vaginally. I got an epidural both times and barely felt nothing, but not pain only pressure. I had to have stitches, but I couldn't feel them doing them or even after the epidural wore off. I wasn't really in any pain after either(and I'm big ole baby when it comes to pain) I didn't even get any pain meds after the birth or my whole hospital stay. You can do it girl!

i went into labor at 38&3 and i had a back labor and slowly dilating but they were giving me demrol for pain because i didnt want a eqidural and they gave me to put in a 4 hour period and everytime i had a contraction my sons heart beat was dropping. and they had him out in less then 23 mintues and he was so blue when he was born because the cord was wrapped around him, and it was a dry c section because my water had been leaking for 4 weeks :(

@ambercoke, I've just heard horror stories of some girls feeling everything even with the epidural, and feeing every stitch and they couldn't even sit for two weeks afterwards and ugh that it was what really made me wanna turn away from the option of delivering vaginally. But you saying you don't feel anything helps. I'm a HUGE baby when it comes to pain. As you can probably tell. Lol

Had my daughter vaginally, water bag tore not completely broke, went in didn't progress quickly enough got an epidural, started pitocin still had a slow progression broke water completely still nothing was told might need c section If not progressed in next check, went from 5 to 9 1/2 in less than an hour (I gues my LO had other ideas lol) pushed for an hour epidural started to wear off had to get enough to finish pushing for another hour! Over all was in labor for 24 hours!

@alainasmommy916, it's very scary, but once you are in the moment you don't think of anything other than your baby. I have had two epidurals and they both worked perfectly fine. Most the time when an epidural messes up or isn't inserted correctly is when the patient moves and it goes in weird, but you won't know until you don't go numb and of course there are faulty ones that don't work I just don't hear of very many not working. They can also give you pain meds thru the IV to help relax you and it's a very strong pain reliever I'm not sure of the name of it though.

How was the delivery since the epidural wore off? Did you feel it? I've heard girls say it wore off and they felt everything. Or that the epidural didnt even work. But I asked my doctor and he said that shouldn't be true because you can keep getting the medicine to keep you numb. @shelbyjo

I did feel everything or what felt like everything for 2 rounds of pushing Luckily the anesthesiologist was outside my room when it happened so he just gave me a few more syringe full to last me which it did thank goodness! I tip my hat to all the moms who do it naturally!! I also had a small tear but that wasn't bad but I have a high pain tolerance I didn't need any of the pain meds my dr prescribed just Motrin and I was fine!
