Has anyone gone over 41 weeks? 42 weeks? Is an induction really as bad as everyone makes it seem π I feel like a failure.. my body isn't doing what it was made to do
2 days long though?! Were there complications or what happened? If you don't mind me asking @eryka616
Well Kaiser induces 10 days after due date so that's what happened
Oh no @eryka616 π³ I'll be 41 weeks Thursday but they won't induce me until 42 weeks (next Thursday) since I have a midwife.. They don't believe in intervention if not necessary. I'm so nervous, I wish he'd just come already
Did they tell you when they induce I'll be 40 weeks on Thursady and they said they don't let you go past 41? But I'm not certain.
They started my induction with a pill but I wasn't going anywhere then they put a balloon in me and it was supposed to get me to 4 cm and fall out but it didn't fall out so when they finally checked I was 5 1/2 cm they broke my water got the epidural they said I could do it on my own well I wasn't so they gave me pitocin and the baby had pooped inside me and was in distress finally it was time to push I pushed for an hour and they yanked her out because she kept turning and wasn't doing good then I was hemorrhaging and I had third degree tear so they gave me medicine to make me contract to stop hemorrhaging suctioned poop out of the babies mouth and put her on me but I couldn't hold her for hours because I was so out of it and the medicine made me shake really bad
