Just read about how you only suppose to have baby showers for your first child. That's what I thought. No I'm not bashing no one cus I could truly give less of a fck, but yea I knew it was for only the one.

it honestly depends on the person and circumstances. if it's been forever since you've had a baby of course you're staring all over again and if you're having something different for your second that's also another reason. I look at baby showers as a celebration of miracle of the beautiful baby coming. some people do a diaper shower instead it all depends.
Hmm..I always thought it was for 1. Your first baby 2. If your second baby is a different gender or 3. If you have your child a significant amount of years after your first.

it doesn't make much sense to me.. if the second baby is the other gender.. or like I was 16 when my little sister was born haha why would my mom still have baby stuff. to each their own though :)

i didnt have one for this pregnancy but i AM gonna have one for my next one. it doesn't matter how many showers u have to be honest. its a celebration for your kid.

My mother had six kids, baby showers, you can have as many as you want there isn't a law, I've never heard this.
@pandabear911, google it lol. It will pop up. & @cubanese not a law lol, more so for traditional purposes, but yea nowadays you pretty much do it for all. A baby shower is like introducing you into motherhood. I just thought it was interesting, I'm sure if I have another I'll want another shower lol
I had a shower for my first (boy) and my second (girl) but not for our 3rd. I just said no gifts for our girl, people brought them anyway.

well my mom is against more then one baby shower but I guess bc the dad isn't in the baby's life and his family isn't and I don't work then that's why she told me to have one. I'm actually having two lol
