okay, a little embarassing maybe a lil bit of tmi, but my PH balance is thrown off very easily, like on my period I would use tampons and it would throw it off, then I was told to use pads and that throws it off.. I was told to not wear anythi ng made with cotton... I had to also change my clothing detergent and soaps, gas anyone else had this problem it's really embarassing when my SO and I are intimate, he says he doesn't care, but I do because I want to still feel sexy even if he already thinks I am.

You're prob thinking metronidazole? I used to use that forever ago and it stopped working for me, along with every antibiotic used for it. No it's not from the dr, although dr is the one that told me to get it, I went to a bv specialist. It's called boric acid powder and I order it off of amazon along with the empty capsules, I fill them with the powder and insert them. I have sex while using them, you put it in at night

Same...I've had chronic bv since I was 22 (I'm 38 now) I have to use these suppositories 3 times a wk to prevent the bv, I've been using them for 7 yrs 😐
Lord, I am so prone to BV but when I quit cigarettes, which I only smoked about 10 a week it stopped! Sometimes eating healthier or ditching bad habits helps. Talk to your doc

So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls.
