Question!!
First Time mommy
I turn 37 weeks tomorrow and I was wondering since it's getting close to my due date. How does it play out??!! Can my water just break out of no where or is their like steps ?? I know stupid question but I really don't know

You start losing your mucus plug. It will look like mucus or thicker white mucusy discharge and you can even have a bloody show. Nothing like gushing but streaks of mucus & blood when wiping. I had lots of pressure down low to the point I couldn't walk well for a few days. Could have been contractions but I couldnt tell. Then again I was 4cm along and didnt know it. My water didnt break until I was at the hospital. It felt like it was never going to end.
yup. you could be sleeping, in the tub, sitting, walking, absolutely anything when they hit
Just time your contractions. I had to have my water popped by my doctor.
Just time those contractions, your water won't always break

it can happen at random. sometimes it doesn't break until late in labor. you don't always gets contractions before hand, but most do. it is different for everyone though
Yes your contractions start and then they get stronger and closer together. One they are coming every 5 minutes, lasting at least a minute consistent for one hour then you are ready to go to the hospital
Most peoples water doesn't break. I think it's around 20% of peoples water actually break
With my first pregnancy my water broke 3 days before my due date when I was getting up off the bed to go to the restroom as I was sitting up I felt a water balloon like pop inside and when I stood up it all hushed out I thought I peed myself for a second but didn't smell like urine so realized it was my water that broke..started showering after and lil tiny contractions were beginning
