So was anyone able to push n have the baby with the epidural. At the end of my labor they stopped the epidural n added pitocin n it hurt like hell!!!
My epidural didn't work. But the nurses wanted to keep trying so I just hugged my husband while they did the procedure three different times. @jensim82011
I just told myself that the sooner they got the epidural in, the sooner the pain would stop. Lol
I was able to lift my legs but I wasnt able to push right so the doctor stopped my epidural I pushed for three hours afterwards n I wasn't able to get him out so the doctor ended up helping me with the vacuum @kyleighraesmommy @babynessa wow how where u able to stay still throughout the procedure with contractions?
I had to have my epidural redone three times plus given a higher dose and IV meds and Pitocin. I couldn't even lift my legs and your still suppose to is what the nurse told me when having an epidural. Couldn't even move my toes. I literally had to have nurses hold my legs and I pushed for 8 hours. I also had to have nurses carry me to the bathroom after birth for the first hour. About an hour before my daughter came they stopped my epidural but I still couldn't lift my legs. I could feel the pressure and burning down there and I felt every stitch I had.
I pushed with the epidural it felt like I wasn't doing nothing but evert time I had a contraction I could feel her head put so much pressure and the need to push. and then they turned it off when her head was crowning and I felt her come out and then stitch me up. I pushed for 10 15mins would have been less but they made me stop for a Lil cause we needed oxygen.
