So my cervix is soft low and I can fit my middle finger into it should I worry

idk if you should be even attempting to put your finger up there anyway... what made you even check like that?

yeah why did you do that? its a reason why they dont check for dilation until later... you should run that by your provider

I know how to check my cervix from prior pregnancies idk exactly what to do i don't wanna worry or stress but what should I do @sexii_diiva @lilfree16

well, let your provider know.. id you can fit your finger in there you're at least 1cm dilated.. and youre effaced.. id have it confirmed so just in case they can get put that clamp on it

you can but you're not supposed to..when you get a pap smear they stick that large q tip In there so I'm sure if you forcefully push your finger up there then it will go. you can't feel yourself dilate or anything so that's why I'm not quite understanding what you are doing that for anywua and you're only in your 2nd trimester. if you felt something was wrong then go to ER or schedule an appt with your MD. but I really don't think you should be sticking your finger up there and I'm more then sure your Dr would say the same exact thing. its just unecesarry

you should not be checking yourself.... especially since you're only in your second trimester. you should let OB know what you did and make sure everything is okay. there is a reason OBs dont check your cervix til you're only a few weeks away from your due date.

They told me it was ok to check in a gentle manner but make sure my hands are gloved and sanitary which they always are when I do something like this but due to my past pregnancies it's normal for it to be a little open and the pains I was feeling was contractions but it's due to the heat we were at the park earlier she told me if I ever feel 6 or more contractions In a hour then come in asap but Drs point of view is 2 huge bottles of water empty the bladder and 6 or more contractions in a hour come in @sexii_diiva @lilfree16 @mv92

you should still contact your doctor.. and let them confirm your cervical check. just in case you're risking dilating more.. they can clamp your cervix.
