Went hospital on the Monday to get a cyst checked out I found on my wee hole asked for a sweep at 10.30am had no signs or pains at all then at 10.30pm I went toilet and when I stood up my waters went everywhere was told by midwife go home and go into labour naturally or come back 24 hours later to be induced anyway he never came so went in on Tuesday night to be induced started the process at 12.30am Wednesday by 1.30/2 I was screaming in pain and begging for pain relief which I didn't want at the start but the drip made the process incredibly painful so had the epidural best thing I ever done I didn't feel a thing and I slept right up until 9am when I was checked out after. A team of 8 midwifes and doctors came in and I was full dilated and ready to push by 10am by 10.47 he was here :) I had to be cut slightly and had stitches but with the epidural I didn't feel a thing if I could say the labour was a good experiences minus the start when I was In pain then i had a good experience and I had the worst anxiety about labour but now I've done it I would do it all again! Xxx

my contractions started on Wednesday 23rd March (6 days overdue) at about 4am but were about 20 mins apart. went for breakfast with my mum, nan and oh and they started getting more painful. rang the maternity unit and they said wait for a while to see if they get closer together. they didn't and thursday morning about 9am they had stopped. didn't sleep though. 4pm came and they started again, this time a lot worse. rang the maternity unit again, had to use a hot water bottle but they still said don't come up yet. at 10pm they were so bad and 1 1/2 mins apart so we went up. got examined, only 2cm dilated so got sent back home and told to have a soak in the bath, eat something and drink as much as i could. got home and on the way up to the bathroom my waters went. i got in the bath anyway as i felt dirty. was force fed 2 chocolate biscuits and threw them up. went back up the hospital at midnight and they admitted me as i was 4cm. went straight on gas and air (magic stuff!!) however when it came to it i was so tired i couldn't push so i ended up going into theatre, having an epidural and a forceps delivery to help me. she was born 6:29am on Friday 25th March.

As soon as you hold your child in your arms it will feel like it's only you, your child and your partner in the world. You'll be so overwhelmed and proud of yourself. It's an amazing feeling! I'd love to feel it all over again 💙 @danielleallen110 xxx

I was taken into hospital 2 days ago for reduced movement. Baby's heart rate settled so yesterday I was induced. I had 2 sweeps and placed back on the monitor. After 40 minutes alarms set off, baby's heart rate had fallen a lot. I was taken to an emergency scan which showed the umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck. So I was taken for an emergency c-section. After 5 minutes Lucas was born, he wasn't moving, he didn't cry but a couple of seconds after they unwrapped the cord he let out a huge cry. I was stitched up and placed on the recovery ward. After 30 minutes Lucas was taken to NICU and he's been there since. I really wanted a natural birth but if I did the cord could have strangled him more 👎🏻👎🏻. My birth story isn't as fascinating as others haha!xxx

My waters broke 7am 13th may as I was getting up to run a bath because I was in pain, had a bath, put pad on to double check it was my waters, it was soaked within 10 minutes, so phoned midwife and she said go hospital and check if it was, and it was my waters, midwife told me to go back up at 5 but I couldn't handle it anymore so went back up at 1.30 and I was 3cm, so was sent home and then told to come back at 6 to check again, I went home had food and another bath, worst mistake I made😂😂 my mum had to help me out of bath, my OH then took me for a walk around town and at 4.15 I told him I couldn't cope anymore and I needed pain relief, I was crying in town with loads of people staring at me but I couldn't care haha! got back to hospital at 4.35, got examined and I was 6cm, went to pass urine, came out and I was telling everyone I needed to push and they didn't believe me, so midwife told.me to just go with my body so I did and she could see his hair, they then told me to get in the pool because if in waited any longer I wouldn't make it so got in and was pushing for 30 minutes and he was out! all I had was gas and air but labour for me was such a good experience, painful but amazing xx
