I exclusively pumped for two months the only reason I stopped was for over production

Oh yeah your milk is def in! The first few days baby is getting colostrum then after a few days the actual breastmilk comes in

@marissamorris OK what can you consider your milk coming in right now when I pump I can fill up the 5 Oz medela pump does that mean my milk came in already I wasn't able to do the at first I was only getting 2 Oz then 3 Oz and then 4 Oz and now I do 5 oz.

Yeah, I pumped because I had some trouble her latching on sometimes n then I had scabs on my boobs so I thought as long as she got the milk but then it just stopped😭 I pumped and when my milk slowly was stopping I used both formula and breastfeeding milk until my milk stopped completely. I heard that when u pump a lot it makes your milk stop faster but that's not all the way true, it just so happened to have happened to me butt know moms who can do it but a majority has happened to them as well 😭

Every 2 hours until my milk came in. Once it came in I pumped every 3 hours

@marissamorris oh really how often did you pump?

I exclusively pumped with my first. He was preemie and when he came home wouldn't latch. I was able to pump for a year. My sister in law also pumped for both of her kids for a year.

@arlindaseja I don't want mine to stop I'm doing formula and breast milk some times I put her on the pump then some times I pump and just give her it in the bottle jus as long as she's getting the breast milk and I give her one formula bottle a day. I want to breast feed her the first 30 days like they recommend then I'm switching to formula.

I only pumped n my milk stopped.. I was able to pump 2 bottles with each boob and then just 1 and then before uk it just 1 bottle for both then my milk completely stopped😭 but I know some friends who can do it.. So it all depends on the person I just wasn't the lucky ones😭
