my bf gave me a promise ring back when i was pregnant & hes been workin real hard to keep all them (drinking & hanging wit all his ex friends - bad influences, thugs & overall bad ppl who dont care about their babymommas or families) recently hes started to smoke cigerattes which i hate. i made him promise he wouldnt be a habit only when we go to the casino (yuu can smoke inside so sometimes i smoke too lol) today he was outside kicken it with his friend & i went out to ask him something & he had a ciggeratte in his hand. he got alarmed when i went out i think he knew. i came back inside & took the ring off

agh i am NOT gunna wear a ring that means shit if hes not keeping his promises. he came in asap & said it wasnt his cig that his friend passed it to him... idk if to believe that?

do people even pass cigerettes? i thought that was just blunts? what would yuu ladies think?

I think u do have a right to be mad, I know I was when I found out my boyfriend had started smoking here and there after he had stopped for a long time

I use to smoke before I got pregnant as well and I would pass cigarettes too. (Only w/ family or bf.) Specially if I didn't want a whole just a drag like @mybabyloves said sometimes its just to stop the craving doesn't necessarily mean you're back at it. I definitely want to stay away from them after baby but even then I know I'll never buy my own pack again but if there one and someone I'm close too or family memeber offers me a drag I'd probably take one. Just to stop the craving. @heeykayly

I think you're allowed to be mad like I wouldn't want to deal with that either. I totally would talk about it though see what's causing him to want to smoke maybe find something different he can relieve his stress and anxiety on. My boyfriend is super supportive and if he wasn't there for me when I've literally almost lit a cigarette id be back to smoking a pack a day again. It's a addiction

I have passed cigarettes before, if you dont want an entire cig, you just ask your friend for a drag or two. Been there done that many times. The craving remains and a drag or two is sometimes enough.

I mean my sisters pass cigerettes. The town they live in you can go to the bus stop and ask someone for a cigarette and if its the last one they have then they'll share it. I use to smoke and its hard to quite. But my husband made me choose after trying to stop for two years he said it was either the smoking or him. So after he said that I stopped when he shipped off to the military.

I used to be a smoker before I got pregnant and I never ever passed a cigarette cause you know it's my vice it's my cigarette they're not cheap! But I do know that quiting smoking cigarettes has been the hardest thing I've ever done (yes even harder than giving birth) even until now i still really crave it. I think you should help him quit it's hard and it's not any easier with the Stress of becoming a new parent.

I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Then promised that on the mornings he doesn't work or the ones he works later he would feed him breakfast so I can have my relax time before having him all day long. Then every morning he is here he says he's not going to get him breakfast because he doesn't want to and sits there telling me to go make and feed our son breakfast. Then every time I remind him of his promise he rolls his eyes and gets butt hurt like wtf. You promised me these things I didn't make you and it makes me mad when you don't want to honor your word and then demand that I do it instead of at least asking me if I could. I feed my son his breakfast and now I'm eating mine in the kitchen because I'm just so irritated.

i think I'm going to ground my son there's this 15yr old that hangs out with him mind you my sons 7 and I see my son across the street with 2 kids his age and like three 15 year old when I was 15 I was not trying to hang out with kids anywhere near that age I have told my son not to once before and the boy now knows but sneaks and hangs out with my son teenagers are up to no good idk if he smokes and will try to make him or what ever I just sent his steldad over there to get him...and this 15 yr has a brother my sons age he asked to sleep over a few weeks ago I thought he meant his little brother but nope the 15 year old wanted to I said no I would have to ask there dad(step dad) but I wasn't really going to and he came over anyways stayed ate and k called his mom told him he invited himself over and took him home he's like 6'0 I'm pregnant (7-8months at the time)and he was following me every where in the house as I was trying to clean if go in my room he'd knock on the door and say my son wanted me when he did not that made me very uncomfortable glad I took him home my sisters and I think he may be autistic because of some of his ways the day after I took him home he came over when my kids were still sleeping my bf told him they were gave him his football he left and he came back again after my bf went to work with xbox 360 games mind you we don't have one and I told him that the day before then came back again with a blanket and said his mom wasn't home I said I'm sorry but we can't have company can't you go to your friends or cousins house 😒 then how did you get your blanket I was thinking in my head....idk I've seen him hang out with kids his age like right now. now back to my son he has started lying when I catch him in the act even if he sees me watching the park is directly in front of my house so he needs to stop the lying hate grounding but he can't go outside anymore today he always ends up with that kid...😡 my dad agree he shouldn't be by him same with sister and bf n friends

This is my son Walter. Today is his birthday. He would have been five. This picture was taken when he was 16 days old. He was my first child and my only son (I now have 3 girls). He passed away the next day after this picture from congenital heart failure. It was a miracle that he lived passed 12 weeks gestation because of how severe his heart defects were. I miss him so much, I can't believe it's been 5 years. It still hurts so bad. I don't talk about him a lot out loud because I end up bawling, so i thank you for letting me share this with you ladies. You have always been nice and supportive. Happy birthday son, your mom loves you.
