Another breastfeeding question. In my last post I mentioned my milk came in yesterday. My breasts are rock hard and hurt. I've tried massaging them in a warm shower like recommended but it didn't do much. I know they told me not to pump for a few weeks, but what if I pumped to dump and relieve some of the pressure and pain? I'm worried if I don't release more I'll get an infection. My baby isn't eating enough to relieve the pressure.
@taylorrleee1, you're so nice☺️!Thank you so much, I may definitely end up taking you up on that when the time comes.
of course! if you have any other questions at all don't hesitate to message me! I had a very rough time at first but I learned a lot because of it and now we're 3 months strong. 😊
@amiliz06, @babes101116 @mandy890 @mrsthig @taylorrleee1 thank you all so much. I'm still learning and I greatly appreciate all of your inputs! I'll be sure not to dump. Thank you guys so much!
pump but definitely don't dump! And only pump enough to relieve the pressure so you dont trick your body into thinking you need to make more milk than you really do!
@mrsthig, thank you so so much! I'm so grateful!
