Can you tell if your dog will be good with children before baby is born? We don't have friends with children or else I would take him to see how he reacts. He jumps on me and doesn't really listen to me but he is only 10 months old. I really don't want to wait and see if something happens, I don't want to put my daughter at risk.

you'll probably have to just wait and see, just be really carful. I'm worried about the same this, my dog loves my 4 year old, but if I bring her anywhere near another child she freaks out. she also jumps up she has scratched my son's face many times :/ I dont want her near the baby lol

Dog training classes are a great idea! and there are a ton of websites that teach how to intergrate the two of them.. Never leave them unattended though. Accidents happen.

Train the dog before here baby comes and remember that he's just a puppy. 10 months is plenty old enough to have lots of training in, but not too late to start if you haven't already.
