So i have a question and kind of a rant lol so be prepared when reading .. So me n my boyfriend arent married so i want to give the baby my last name plus his like hyphened will the baby go by my last name or his mainly ? ... My in laws r saying i shouldnt do my name because he needs to be a mays like his dad n just take mays as his last name but i feel like if were not married then no n also im the very last person with davidson in our family once im gone my last name does with me so i feel like even though it will be a new generation of davidson-mays he is still carrying on my name some what
you can put it hyphenated and use whichever you chose to use. my son has my last name and when I married my husband he changed his last name to mine so it worked out for us
I'm married and still will be hyphenating my son's name. my first has my last name as well.
I'm pretty sure you can do both. My maiden name would have died with me so my first son has my last name, and my second son has my married last name. I'm pretty sure when you deliver you can tell whoever is in charge of doing the birth certificate you want both names hyphenated.
if u do both he will always go by both. .. i used mine and my bf last names and they always call my daughter with both names
Am I wrong for telling my Bd that because we not Married my baby don't have to have his last name? He really got mad and told me I was project n ignorant. Crazy part is I was thinking about giving my baby his middle and last name
Maiden or Married??
Which name do you honestly like better, your maiden last name or your married last name (assuming you changed it)?
My boyfriend is so upset that I didn’t give our son his last name but I have 4 other kids that has my last name I didn’t want to make him the only one with a different last name. Is that selfish of me? Or should he just understand. We not married
Baby girl names ending in -ley
Hi! What are your favorite names or uncommon names that end with -ley? We already have a Finley, and I love Presley, but a good friend of mine may be using it. I feel like I have heard them all! Thank you!
Okay. So i just have a question for all you moms out there. ive called several places and I have gotten no answers. my child's father wants to change my daughters last name to his last name. I am now married and my daughter has my maiden name. if i let him chnage her last name to his will that give him more rights or leverage? i just dont wanna go through with it and then end up regreting it if he gets power over me. he pays child support but there is no visitation established. he only sees her ...
