Sleeping on your back constricts your blood flow can raise your blood pressure n makes your organs work harder
I've been sleeping every way. My back, both sides and I'm still able to sleep on my stomach too 😩 @txbree
My doctor told me to sleep however is comfy. So for four pregnancies, I have slept on my back and sides.
Yes, it's not good for baby! They say sleeping on the left side is the best side. It increases the amount of blood flow and nutrients that reach your placenta. @trulyslim
I know right, because I'm used to it too. I do sometimes just to give my side a rest. @trulyslim
Wowww, I wish I knew that @txbree @momtobe1211 Because I always sleep on my back.
When you lie belly-up, the weight of your uterus can compress a major blood vessel, called the vena cava, disrupting blood flow to your baby and leaving you nauseated, dizzy, and short of breath.
I was never told this but now it makes sense as to why I was always so uncomfortable on my back...I always thought I was the weight of the baby on everything. Good to know for next time!
