So after being in slow labour for 3 days now I decided not to time my contractions as they are 3-5 mins followed by back pain, period pain, constant trips to the toilet but only 1-2 cm dilated and still 2cm thick. Been taking it slow and leaving it up to princess and after bouncing on the ball for 45 mins and nearly falling off because of a sudden wave of exhaustion, I'm now feeling extremely nauseous followed by strong back pains and just been to the toilet to see that a nice amount of my mucus plug has come away! 🙈 hoping that it's soon now as slow labor is the worst
Mine where about 15 minutes apart just before my daughter was born I had to be put on a drip because of it so I would never time them there was nothing wrong it's just that they slowed down xx
Ur midwife is so right! Timing them just drives you mad especially when every woman is different, docs don't take that into consideration. I haven't timed the ones I'm getting now but I know they are frequent and they are strong so I'll go down to get checked out soon X
I was in slow labour for weeks with my daughter not as far dilated as you tho and it really gets to you after awhile midwife told me not to time contractions but to go by the strength so if there getting stronger that's a good sign means somethings happening xx
