Anybody able to tell me what the hospitals will give you after you deliver your baby?? I hear a lot of people say not to take diapers they give you supplies for the first few days and with pads and The right things you need to heal after a vaginal birth.
What do I need to NOT worry about bringing????
Oh do I need to bring my breast pump??
What should you write down before hand for your nurses and Doctor??

You dont need to bring anything for baby besides memory book and going home outfit, i brought one for him to wear in hospital also but that was my choice. My hospital had all the bath stuff so I also just needed a going home outfit tooth brush and hair brush. Sorry easier to say what to bring then not. You can also contact the hospital youll be delivering at to find out what they supply. I would bring breast pumo just so they can show you how to properly use it. I didn't write anything down but had my husband and mom there who told them if I had any wishes. Like I didnt want my son to leave my room at all not even for his first bath. Also I didnt want the epidural and wanted skin to skin immediately after. Also if you dont want students in there. I wasnt expecting it and was on a sedative kinda thing when they asked so agreed to have them (2+professor). Didnt realize till sedative wore off and I was pushing.

Some hospitals offer stuff that others don't. But as far as the absolute essentials they will have. I packed things that i wanted to have.. like clothes for my baby, hats, mittens, socks, a warm blanket, a swaddle blanket & a coming home outfit. I did pack like 3 diapers, diaper rash cream, a small pack of wipes i think it comes with like 10 wipes total (just in case) although i doubt i'll need them. For us i packed toiletries like shampoo, barsoap, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, our own towel, comfy clothes, slippers, quarters for the vending machines, a small blanket, my own pillow & a small makeup bag for me.. i would put you breast pump in the car just in case. The hospital does let you borrow one of theirs during your stay but you never know which you will like better.. and you may want to test yours out with a lactation specialist before you leave just so you get comfortable with it. Also, you might want to bring a breast feeding pillow! Bring a small notebook! So you can jot down important info your dr, nurses & anyone else has for you. A birth plan might be a good idea! I found a really good fill-in-the-blank one online.. on thebump.com!

Thank you so much! @atlas @floress_j it helps me a lot and I feel I must get it all done now. Did you pack newborn size and is 0 to 3 months says clothing I just don't know how big my baby boy will be earlier in the week my doctor said he might be about 7 pounds already if you 7 pounds at 37 weeks how big is he going to be at 39 weeks??

I had 0 to 3 months but honestly should have brought newborns so Id suggest least haven 2 of each just in case till figure out size. They thought I was going to have a big boy I delivered at 38 weeks 7lbs 5oz he was so tiny to me lol

Honestly, the clothes i packed are nb.. it might be wise to pack some 0-3 tho! I honestly don't know.. i'm going into labor knowing nothing about his weight and size. The last time i had an ultrasound he was about 5lbs.. that was like 5 weeks ago. They said i dont need any more ultrasounds so who knows how much he weighs now.
One more thing, don't forget your carseat!
