How Did I Spend My First Day of Maternity Leave?

sorry hunny I fell asleep - which is perfectly normal ... then I wake up at this time and the pain takes over and I can't get back to sleep until 5am or so! I'm at a wedding tomorrow and could have done with a good night's sleep... that's never going to happen now! your 11 year old sounds.lile such an angel ❤❤❤ @tg123456789 xxx

yeah im same @catherineln25 im just crying and cant see light at end of tunnel. i struggle with evetything. hate it :( ive an 11yr old and hes helpin me so much bless him. xx

you sound exactly the same as me sweetie, I have hyperemesis I'm still sick now. I'm still on anti nausea tablets and have been since I found out I was pregnant at about 5 weeks. I had a good few weeks and I thought brilliant I love this 'glow' then I've gone down hill. quickly! I've had to move back in with my parents and my partner as I can't be left alone at all. do you struggle just moving in general? I refuse to have anymore for at least 5 years I won't put a small child through their mummy not being very helpful I'd want them in school so I could save my energy. missing work so so much already.. I'm on the sofa crying now... crying my eyes out! @tg123456789 xxx

my first was a doddle and he was a big baby at 9lb 6oz... i put 4 stone on and was still in size 8s and tiny other than a huge and i mean huge round bump. never no issues... i was 18.

this time im 30 and a size 14. still a 14 but not as big and its been hell. awful morning sickness to 17 weeks where i cudnt get out bed to having just 11 weeks normal and thought yeesssssss i can enjoy this preg now. them boom! it hits me the bloody ribs! i was having 1 more after this one, NOT NOMORE!!!!! noway! id pay to make the pain go away!! @catherineln25 xx

have you tried heat packs or ice packs sweetie I find that gives me a tiny bit of comfort. my partner had to buy me quite a few ice packs so I could wrap them around me. I was informed the pain we have isn't a pain they can easily treat. I'm having to sleep on the sofa at the minute I can't sleep in a bed, I just can't do it! it can't be because your old I'm only 24 🙈🙈 I sound like I moan about being pregnant and I really really love the fact my little girl is coming but I've had a hell pregnancy xxx @tg123456789

im same i knt keep still. tonight at my sons yr 6 leaving concert i was sat an hour and couldnt keep still for agony. ruined a night id usually be so happy to sit through. its hideous pain and i dont know what to do. whats annoying is im taking the tablets yet there not touching the pain!:( ive just had enough. never had anything like this with my son 11yrs back. maybe cause this time im old haha :) xx @catherineln25

when I spoke to my mum who's been a nurse for over 35 years she told me I'd do more damage not taking anything than taking the painkillers as I'd be getting so stressed out. we aren't super human hunny. I've had to come on maternity leave early as I can't sit up for more than 2 hours at a time. I'm between Manchester and Nottingham and the drive kills me but if I don't see it I can't see my partner 😭😭😭 I do no what you mean about the pain. @tg123456789 xxx

well this is thing! @catherineln25 i dont want to take anything as dont want any harm to her. im on dyracodeine? not sure if spelt right. paracetamol and a new table started yest beginning 'r' there downstairs and im lain on bed now as usual...

im really low at min. i honestly am. just awful i knt explain the pain but ull know what i mean. :(

That's like me @tg123456789 thankfully living with a nurse means she has admitted the pain has been stupid. I bet your so fed up - I am! I've never felt so so so low in all my life.. It makes me very sick as well! I'm popping so many tablets xxx

yeah there monitoring me fourtnightly as it will be putting more presure on the bigger i get so pains unbearable now really is so they may look to induce at 37weeks But im going to stick it out. im constantly crying @catherineln25 xx

my bloody rib is down to a hernia pushing it outwards! was at hospital all yest and they just didnt have a clue what could be untill had xray. its agony i knt cope! but im glad they didnt lie...it will get worse as i go in! wahhhh 😰😰 x @catherineln25
