That's when my son started having gas problem. Try burping him more often. Also you can try tummy calm from Walgreen. It worked wonders for my son. If you think he maybe constipated, you can try prune juice. My son did 5OZ so I would put 1OZ of prune juice, 4OZ water/breastmilk. Than add formula if you don't breastfeed.

@linkrio94, I wondered if maybe it was gas. I don't know if it's constipation, he's been pooping like normal! But I definitely think gas may have something to do with it.

If pooping is normal, and often, I wouldn't say constipation. Sounds like your little one has some gas problems, which is 100% normal for his age!

@linkrio94, Now that you mention it, he does seem to be more content when he's laying on his belly! So I'd almost bet you're probably right!!

Lincoln was the same. We did alot of bicycles, and tell me massages😊

@linkrio94, I'll have to try doing those with him too! Hopefully it helps! He hardly ever cried before this and now I just call him my little grumpy bear all the time. Lol.

Try burping him every once or so. Oakley gets fussy sometimes to the point that I can't console him and most of the time it's gas. If you're bottle feeding get a bottle like the playtex vent aire that doesn't allow much air to get into their tummies. If you're breast feeding just burp him often. Doing those things seemed to help O out a lot. That and gripe water!

@emkasting, I've started using those bottles! He seems to like them!! And yes gripe water seems to be the only thing that's helped so far! So hopefully a little more time with those bottles and burping more often will help!

@emkasting, we switched Lincoln to those, and he LOVED them. I Definitely agree with switching the bottles.

@linkrio94, @emkasting We've been using tommy tippee up until now, and I think I also prefer the style of the playtex ones over them too.

Oakley loves the playtex bottles too! I use the vent aire and the drop ins, both of which are supposed to limit the amount of air they swallow. I bottle and breast feed so I wanted a bottle that was as similar to the breast as possible and the playtex ones with the natural latch nipple help a lot! Also make sure the nipple you're using says "slow", I noticed if I use a medium flow nipple instead of a slow flow he gets more gassy.

@emkasting, yes those are what we've switched to! I will have to double check on the nipple. I want to say it's a slow but could be wrong!

When I bought one of the drop ins bottles I didn't notice that the nipple it came with was a medium flow until he started spitting up more, so yeah just double check :)

He could be going through a devepmental leap or growth spurt...google wonder weeks...i bought the book...pretty accurate so far and helps me stay sane!
