How often are you supposed to just let babies cry?! Instead of picking them up all the time?! My baby is 4 weeks old and I feel like shit letting her cry, but she's getting too damn comfortable getting picked up and held all the time
My dr said the same that at this age (bc my son is also 4w) they need something but i believe they can get spoiled already bc he cries when i put him down and is sound asleep wen i hold him
That's what I thought.. Thanks everyone! I just heard people saying not to get her used to being spoiled and blah blah blah so I wasn't sure!!
You have to think your baby only knows you and your scent so she just wants to be near you as she had in the womb. I wouldn't let her cry it out. She just needs comfort.
I waited until about 3 months to try to let them cry it out. Up until then they have separation anxiety. They are used to being in a little nest. Try sleeping with a blanket for a few nights to get your scent on it and give it to baby when they get upset.
I don't think they can get spoiled right now. Even if baby falls asleep with you but wakes up when you put them down they just want to be with you. They have been with you for so long they don't want to be by themselves they only know being by you or with you. Give it time and baby will become more independent when she is older.
