i fear for my husband's life.. why you may ask because every day he wakes up for work he puts on his uniform, badge and boots simply to protect the citizens in the state of Georgia. that's all he wants to do.. and for those who have put a bad name to law enforcement officers (LEOS) they all aren't like that. I'm scared im going to receive that phone call that says he was shot getting in or out of his car before or after work unarmed and just am inoccent officer trying to protect and serve and come home to his family. it's heartbreaking that hes now a target because there is poor judgement in other officers and those using unessecary force on innocent people. I'm scared im going to lose the father of my children, the love of my life, my best friend, my husband all because he wears a LEO uniform

I live in Tn but I appreciate all that your husband does... im sorry you have to worry about him like you do, I have been reading up on the current events going on and I couldn't imagine if my husband was an officer right now :-(

thank you @justinsmomma92716 i appreciate it a lot! its getting worse...we just had an officer get shot down south he responded to a call about a persons car being broken into and he was shot when he got out the car...i know he will never admit to it...hes scared...when he got off work he said let me hurry home so i can get out of this uniform before something bad happens. currently there is a protest in ATL

I wouldn't blame anyone in his shoes for being scared... sad stuff is going on and innocent people who are just trying to help people are getting hurt and killed :-(

@justinsmomma92716, exactly that's what is so frustrating.. there are bad people no matter the race, gender, sexuality etc. and it puts a bad name for those who are good people.. it's just scary to imagine as something as little as sitting at a red light he can be shot at because of his uniform. i have a feeling history is fixin to repeat it's self

that's what my husband has been saying... its scary bringing our son into this world when you never know what kind of crazy stuff is going to happen tomorrow
