we went and looked at hot tubs today. we found one that you can turn the heater completely off or you can manually set the temperature. I'm wondering if I would even be able to sit in one now. what is the difference between a hot bath and sitting in a not so hot hot tub.
Under 100 degrees Fahrenheit. And the jets off. The jets are what circulate. Having them on van increase your body temp and keep it increased meaning less oxygen and blood for babe.
@octoberbaby_11, so if we kept the heater off or at a very low temperature it would be ok?
when I say hot bath I don't mean as hot as normal. shoot here lately with 105° heat ice been sitting in cold water. it's mainly the Jets that help me relax. I've had excruciating back and tail bone pain. and the Jets in the tub really do help
The reason baths are okay and hot tubs are not is because as the water bubbles and circulates in the hot tub the temperature stays constantly hot and raises the body temp. In a bath it's sitting water and doesn't stay constantly hot.
I was never told either. so now I'm curious. my showers are hotter than my baths. but I don't stay in the shower as long as I usually do a bath. I'm pretty sure if I had a TV I would be in the bath all day. it's the only time I get any type of relief.
