Question: my daughter has been sleeping about 5-6 hours at night but goes 6-7 hours with out eating. (She falls asleep about an hour after she eats for the night). When she wakes up should I feed her about half to an ounce more when she wakes up from that long stretch? Or should I give her more before she goes down and she may sleep longer?
Let me know what you ladies think. Thank you advance!
So my baby is 8 weeks old and is thriving with weight gain each doctors visit. So here is my question: around 4-5 hours at night for sleep she wakes up every night and sucks on her thumb. (She finally this week likes it to soothe her during nap times) her eyes are still closed and she moves around and sucks it. I wake her to feed her. My question is should I just let it go? And see if she is just soothing herself to sleep? I don't want her to stave by morning if she sleep a couple of more hours...
Waking to feed?
My dd is a week old and I was told by her doctor to wake her every 2 hours during the day and 3-4 hours at night to feed her. For the first 3 days I did that and when I would wake her fit a night feeding she was fussy and usually wouldn't go back to sleep and would want to nurse constantly until about 9 am. I tried not waking her last night and she slept beautifully! She woke up around 6 hours in and ate then slept another hour or so and ate again. Is it ok to let her sleep?
Let baby sleep?
When did you ladies start letting your babies sleep through the night? My daughter just turned 3 weeks and i still wake and BF her every 3 hours. This morning she will not wake up and eat! She seems so tired. Should I just let her sleep? She has more than enough wet diapers.
So my pediatrician told me my daughter should be eating 10 bottles a day....she eats 4.5oz every 3-4 (sometimes more if she naps through her feeding time) which means at most my daughter would have 8 bottles in 24 hours and that's only if she wakes up every 3 hours on the dot to eat...so I'm pretty sure her doctor doesn't know wtf she's talking about. And my daughter sleeps about 7-8 hours at night and there's no way I'm gonna wake her just to feed. She'll wake up if she needs to eat. Right??
When will baby sleep through the night? My daughter is almost 3 months and she is still waking up every 3 hours. 😩😴
if logi is still sucking on the bottle when he finishes I fix another ounce and just let him decide how much and when. sometimes he drinks 5 sometimes just 2 or 4 before bed then when he wakes up the same
dr told me to go at his pace
