so my daughter has a horrible cough that sounds like something in her bronchi tubes so I took her to the doctors today (mind you the doctor that's been seeing her isn't her primary doctor its the other doctor that shares an office with her and I just don't like him cuz he's not personable at all!!) and all he does is come in not even say hi to me and just goes to my daughter and checks her ears nose and mouth and listen to chest and says "oh it's just a upper respiratory cold, shell be okay just watch her to make sure she doesnt have a fever or of she has a fever it doesn't get high or anything" and leaves. okay I understand that you're the doctor and are supposed to know what your talking about but my daughter's cough DOES NOT sound like just an upper respiratory cold it sounds more serious and for him to just blow it off as that really pisses me off specially since he's not even my daughter's primary doctor. but the last time I brought this to the receptionist attention her only response was "oh well they work in the same office so they see the same patients" like uhm excuse me no! he is not her doctor I don't want her to being seeing someone who isn't personable at all I want her to be seeing the doctor she was seeing up until her 5-6 month check up when this dumbass doctor came in to fill in for her original doctor. you filled in one time for my daughter's doctor that doesn't make you her primary doctor sorry!! my daughter has her 9 month appointment on Monday and if this dumbass comes into the room I'm gonna flip out and just tell them that until they have her original doctor see my daughter instead of this doctor (who in my opinion is a complete dumbass) I won't be taking my daughter to them and I will be finding my daughter a new doctor. I mean this doctor used to bey younger brother and sister in law's doctor until my mother in law got fed up and basically told them that this doctor is a complete idiot and whoever gave him his license for pediatrics is even dumber.

anyways sorry for the rant but I just needed to get that all off my chest. but I was wondering if any of you mommies knew of any medicine that I could give my daughter (she's 9 months) for this terrible cough. cuz the idiot doctor that she seen today just said to give her nasal drops which doesn't make any sense to me seeing as it's all in her chest and not in her nose at all like she doesn't even have a runny nose it's just a horrid cough.
