It infuriates me when I hear comments like "well, don't resist arrest and things like that wouldn't happen" or "abide by the law and do what an officer says and you'll be fine"... NO. Stop telling people that. Stop reinforcing that mindset. Yes, you should always cooperate and be mindful that these men are just trying to do their jobs, but unless you threaten these men's lives, you should never have to fear for yours. This isn't enforcing the law. This isn't officers protecting themselves. This isn't self defense. This is murder. The people who can remain neutral or unbothered by this should do some serious soul searching. I don't understand how you can keep turning your heads and telling yourselves there's nothing wrong with what's been going on here in this country for so long when proof of the injustice and brutality just gets stronger and more undeniable.

Btw, I have several law enforcement officers in my family. I have nothing but respect for a lot of these men... The men who wear their badge with honor and are out here just trying to make this world a safer place for us and our families, not the cowards wearing that badge while they gun down innocent men unnecessarily.
