I'd check with your OB office to get the accurate information because I was told it was safe to bathe in your own tub but no swimming in public places: Pools, beach, lake, etc until after the 6 weeks. Possible I was misinformed. Again I apologize.
I think it depends who you ask , every dr is different , and every study will tell you something different. I was told baths are fine just no no no soaps or anything . It has to be plain water soap can cause an infection . So I would just see what your dr tells you and go off that .
