Just need to vent. I'm 27 +5 weeks pregnant working two jobs while going to college full time, my husband works 50 plus hours a week we have his son half of the time and we both split the house chores. It just irks me to see women using pregnancy as a handicap. I completely understand being put on bed rest and medical conditions. Get off your lazy butts and do something. Sitting at home eating all the time is not healthy for you or your baby. Yes some days are tougher than others but seriously whining about not having money isn't going to fix it. Get a job. Don't use the excuse places won't hire you because they will. I was pregnant when I got both of my jobs.
So do I. I would love to be at home until they start preschool/school. If it were possible. @tlw1596
That's what I said too. My mom said I would just waste my college degree by becoming a stay at home mom, but I want to have a career too
Yes. I'm glad someone else feels the same. You don't have to give up your dreams when you have kids. It's called balance. @tlw1596
I feel ya, I would have worked up until I delivered if I could have. I planned on going back to college in the fall as well, but I realized if I took a class over summer that I could graduate before fall.. I'm all about people finishing college and getting a career even if they have a baby or a baby on the way
I don't think it should be used as an excuse. Personally I use weekends to relax and do homework and catch up on sleep. I plan to stay in school until he's here and once fall semester starts I'm going to try and get ahead since I'll be out for a while. And work until he gets here. @tlw1596
I don't really think it is judgemental. up until I got sick at 28 weeks I was working one job, taking seven college courses with two research projects, and I was hiking ten miles or so twice a week. I try not to use being pregnancy as an excuse to be lazy
I completely agree. My husband works a lot so I wouldn't have to work and I could just go to school but I can't do that. @kenitra , I completely understand medical conditions and making sure you and your baby is safe. But apparently im judgemental. @tlw1596
I got hired at 28 weeks, but sadly my first day of work I got admitted to the hospital with pyleonephritis! I wish I could have worked my whole pregnancy, I wanted to so badly
And I also wonder, why are you having a baby if you can't support yourself to begin with? It's insane. Why bring a baby into that situation?
Well that's your opinion. But if people want to complain about money and other stuff then do something about it. Sitting on your butt all day isn't helping that situation. @phinnybinz
Exactly! My plan is to work until he is here. I just can't sit at home and do nothing. @kenitra
Yeah people are too much! While I do go to bed much earlier now than before I was pregnant - like 9:00 pm - I work full time, go to the gym, see my friends and family, just moved into our new place and some remodeling is still going on so we are cont dangly cleaning and unpacking, have 2 Stepkids with me 50% of the time and still go on real dates and vacations with my man. Some days I am more tired than others, but I'm still pretty good! I'm debating whether to start my maternity leave at 38 weeks or just wait until the baby comes. Working is good!
Seems awfully judgemental of you to say that about other people.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
I wish I could, but I can't. I am going to have to work at least part time sadly.
