Yeah girl go ahead! If anything you won't notice a difference if it doesn't work that is. I tried that with my son and really made no difference but hopefully it works for you :)

I gave my son cereal at 6 weeks and he turned out fine :) Just add a little to formula/breastmilk, just don't make it too thick. Cereal also helps babies with reflux keep formula down.

My son weighed 8lbs 12oz at birth. Came home eating almost 6oz of formula. By 6 wks we were going through so much formula. I called my grandma and she was like give him a pinch of cereal to hold him. She did it with her 6 kids and 22 grandkids and all of us survived

My friend told me she did that with her 2 week old and it knocked her right out ( sleep )

ask your doctor most babies can not tolerate solids until around 6 months old. They do not have the gag reflex for it. They do not make barley anymore; my son loved it and I couldn't find it for my niece this winter.
