this might sound stupid but where do you put the basal thermometer at? I know it's probably just like all the other regular thermometer but wasn't sure

didn't think about that, I am a horrible mouth sleeper so I may do vaginal. Thanks @bebefever94
you can do it any way you would like. oral, vaginal, anal just make sure once you pick an area stick with it. I prefer anal or vaginal because I am a mouth breather while sleeping and it would throw off my temps

So my 4 month old had a fever of 100.6 last night. Gave her Tylenol, took a bath with her and did some skin to skin and it broke. She didn’t wake up all night(normal) her ear thermometer says 98.1 but when I get to my moms I’m using a different one just to make sure mind is reading right because she feels kind of warm. At what point do I have her seen? Because at this point I don’t think this is happening because of her shots anymore.

When should I take my daughter to the ER?
We have 3 different thermometers and her temp on them were 101.1, 99.9, and 99.6
Her head is hot but the rest of her body is cold. She doesnt have much symptoms except she wants to be held all the time, if we put her down she will cry. Even if she falls asleep she will wake up and cry. Im really worried please give some advice.
