sorry ladies. not pregnancy related but I really need to vent and I can't post about this on Twitter or fb (bc of family/friends) we used to live with my grandma rent free and now we rent a house for 725 a month. my grandma has offered us to move back in with her (again for free) so we can save up for a wedding and to buy a house. I really want to bc I loved living with her and it would be awesome for her to see her great grandson everyday. plus we do her housework and yard work and cook since we don't pay her. but I don't think my SO will want to. he loves my grandma but he loves being on our own. which I understand but we could be saving almost 1000 a month if we moved back in with her. I hate having to pass up on things I wanna buy for my son or for the house just bc we have bills when we could be living somewhere for free. hopefully we can sit down and have a serious talk soon without fighting. all our financial discussions have been turning into arguments lately :( plus were taking a tour of a wedding venue on Friday that costs 6000 😩 so I know the only way we can afford it is if we move back to grandmas

thank you. I feel so stuck. I like having our own house but I would also love to be able to save up so that we can have the wedding of our dreams and buy our dream home. plus my grandma lives alone and she's like my mother so I don't like the thought of her being alone. I still come over 3 times a week or so to visit and help her with things. @gcpaschal

How much time has he spent with her? Maybe if they start spending more time together he would be open to it?

we both lived with my grandma before we moved to the house were in now. he's very close to my family and I love that. I think his problem is that he's almost 28 (I just turned 23) so he doesn't like the thought of relying on someone else. he thinks he needs to be on his own bc of his age. which again I understand. I just think that saving money is more important than his pride right now. also he works 2nd shift and isn't home until 330 am and I hate being home alone with a 2 month old at night. @gcpaschal

Yeah the pros definitely outweigh the cons when it comes to moving back in. Not getting home until after 3 in the morning would be enough for me.
