@laneylovesvinnie, totally 100% normal. I don't feel any different and I've never gained weight from it. I was on the shot for 3 years before we decided to get pregnant

@laneylovesvinnie, I just got the depo shot. I like it better than the Nuva ring. I don't have any side effects and I don't have to remember to put it back in and it's not effecting my milk supply

Had it for 5 years and never used condoms, never got pregnant. Stopped using it and was pregnant 2 months later. It's up to 3 hours @valrocks but sometimes I forgot. Wish I could go back on it but can't because BF.

I was on it for 2 years. I had hot flashes from it. Didn't get pregnant. Then there's the issue with what to do when you have sex. You can leave it in but your partner can feel it or you can take it out for up to 3 hours (don't quote me on the time) but you have to remember to put it back in. I would pass out and forget till the morning. Oops. Still never got pregnant.

I haven't had it but my Aunt got pregnant on her first with it.
