Doctor called me back. They want to go ahead and deliver her tomorrow. I go in tonight at 8 and they'll start the cervadil and then I'll do pitocin starting in the morning.

Short Luteal Phase? I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Please help! My doctor is trying to induce me before 40 weeks because she's going to be off on my due date and says my placenta is starting to look old. How do I get labor started?? I don't want to be induced for no reason and I'm thinking I won't have a choice. Please help. What do I do to get things going?

@expectingz shes just out of room to grow and they don't want me to go past my due date, but it doesn't seem like she'll come without induction and they don't have any other openings until after my due date. she's not moving much anymore either.

It's crazy to me the they wouldn't want you to go past, when the baby is ready then they just come unless something is wrong, smh, okay. Idc if I go past mine, my baby will come when they are ready, its hard enough with regular labor, inducing brings comtractions on harder and stronger. Sorry, I'm planning my unmedicated natural birth and seems like they will try to push me into interventions as well. We will not be partaking unless med necessary. But blessings to you!

@expectingz my doctor doesn't do any induction at all unless there is a medical reason or unless you're 42 weeks and he's been doing this for longer than I have been alive. I'm very nervous but I'm trying to just trust him and contain myself lol. I'm so nervous. We get 2 NSTs a week, and lately her heartbeat has been very high but she's had very very little movement, and if she runs out of room then her chances of being suffocated by the cord or pooping in the womb go up by a lot (happened to a family friend back in april, sadly). I'm so nervous. I don't have everything ready or anything.

We'll that sounds more medical to me and a liget reason to induce to me. Those risk out weigh the benefit of keeping the baby in, so in that case I would allow that. So I fully understand now and totally agree you should and I'll be praying all is well, and everything works out also! Did they tell you how big the baby is now?
