I was induced by pessary then the drip and had a quick labour/delivery. It wasn't as bad as I imagined. If I'm entirely honest I didn't find it that hard. But I don't have anything to compare it too as it was my first baby. Don't worry about it and just go with it my lovely. All births are different xx
I was the same as @holliesinead - given a pessary which made my waters break but then ended up on a hormone drip which is so intense when the pains kick in! You will need an early epidural as it was left too late with me & I was fully dilated before the anaesthetist could even get to me as it happened that quick. So like the girls said just be prepared for how quick it is xx
I was induced with the hormone drip and like @winterbaby95 said its not natural for the body to be put through this so its a lot more painful and stronger than natural labour and when it does start it starts fast to be prepared if your planning on just gas and air it may not stay like that as your body is thrown into intense labour unlike when it's natural it happens over time I took the epidural after an hour I was so against having it but the pain was like nothing I ever expected it, but it is different for everyone so don't take my word for it you may be amazing and deal with the pain the whole way through without any drugs xx
The inducing process can be long :) and sometimes it fails so it may result in a Csection :) Other than that...I don't know what to say hun...just maybe you will be in hospital for long...I was told by my midwife its not like going into natural labour so contractions will be stronger and closer together xx
Thanks all x
