So. At todays doctors appointment I was informed I will be getting my membranes stripped next Thursday (July 14th) at 39 weeks and then that following Sunday I will go to the hospital to have a tube inserted into my cervix to help me dilate more (I am 1 cm and 80% thinned now) there I will be spending the night and be placed on antibiotics for Group B Strep and then induced Monday morning July the 18th (my original due date is July 21st). With all of that said can you tell me what all of this is going to be like? I am a first time mother, I understand that every birth / induction is different, I just want to know your stories and if any of you have went through what I will be going through. I am a little nervous but not really. He has to come out somehow and sometime.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
I only was induced, but always am on antibiotics when I have my kids because I seem to be sick every time.... They just want to be safe. My inducement was EXTREMELY easy... She broke my water before the pitocin was even started. Contractions weren't awful and it was a lot faster than my first delivery naturally but that's not always the case
