At todays doctors appointment I was informed I will be getting my membranes stripped next Thursday (July 14th) at 39 weeks and then that following Sunday I will go to the hospital to have a tube inserted into my cervix to help me dilate more (I am 1 cm and 80% thinned now) there I will be spending the night and be placed on antibiotics for Group B Strep and then induced Monday morning July the 18th (my original due date is July 21st). With all of that said can you tell me what all of this is going to be like? I am a first time mother, I understand that every birth / induction is different, I just want to know your stories and if any of you have went through what I will be going through. I am a little nervous but not really. He has to come out somehow and sometime.
