Be honest, how many of you ladies actually waited the full 6 weeks (after baby is born) without having sex with your significant other?
Oh I know. Twins can be fun but I'm sure it's got its rough times too. @ftmommieoftwiinz yea, there are some ladies that have it in them to go for a second time right after they had a baby but me, no I'm done once my 6 wk follow up appt comes up I am getting a tubal ligation done 😊
That is scary lol for me I mean. especially since I just had twins.. I was so happy I got my period a few days ago lol I saw a girl on here tha her baby was 9 months old and she was 28 weeks preggo. I'm like I commend her however that cannot be me. I'm undecided but if I do have more kids..the twins will hopefully be out of diapers..
yea, I was looking through the birth control section and some mommies have confessed that and are now scared they might be pregnant for a second time 😱 I just was curious @ftmommieoftwiinz
I waited 5 MONTHS after the birth of my first son (vaginal birth) and at least 3 months after my c section with my second son.
Lol I waited 3-4 weeks after my c section when I got the okay from my docs. I know some ppl that wait only a week.
got it then I think mine was just a 1st degree because my girl down there feels normal again haha but yea I know I should wait just to make sure doc says ok. @hellosweetie Oh yeah, I bet. With a c-section I wouldn't mess with that either @brwneydgirly25
I'll be 6 weeks on Thursday, we have waited. even with having c sections, sex hurt really bad after my 2 year old so I'm but rushing to do it any earlier than 6 weeks.. look
I asked the doc after he stitched me up and he told me, 2nd degree isn't quite as bad, 1st degree it just like a little on the outside and 2nd degree is like inside a bit lol all I know is it was super swollen and hurt to sit or stand or pee or poop LOL even after we got the go ahead to have sex it hurt a bit for a few weeks if he hit the scar tissue.....take your time haha and lots of foreplay!!!
I waited as well. I had a 3rd degree tear, it wasn't comfortable as I thought it would be lol.
I hear ya @aniyahsmommy0403 I'm at my 3rd week right now and there are moments when I feel like I'll be giving in. But it's true @hellosweetie I know the reasoning behind it. I just don't know what degree my tear was. I don't think they told me and this whole time I thought they had done an episiotomy on me but it was actually a tear just don't know what kind it was. That's another reason why I'm resisting with all my might. :/
I did. The reason is because you don't know if your cervix is fully closed until the doctor checks and if it isn't closed and healed having sex or using tampons can introduce bacteria to the uterus and cause infection. I didn't want to chance it! Besides that, I had two 2nd degree tears so I wasn't about to start at it until I knew for sure all the stitches were healed LOL
No I did. I had three stitches. @mrspavlides
