so has anyone else been told that their baby head is so big that it cant be measured on the ultrasound? im kinda worried…

do they have older ultrasound machines?? how far along are you?

I haven't been told that specifically but I know once you're so far along it gets harder to see certain things in the ultrasound so maybe the head is just hard to see? I'm not sure! Try not to stress, could you have your doctor or the tech elaborate on what they meant by that?

im 37+4 and they said she is 9lb and that they can usually measure a baby head up to 43 weeks but they said her head is to big to be measured @emkasting @kayla471

Well I will say this, the weights they give are really just an estimate so even if they're saying 9lbs she could weigh less than that. Of course at times they can be accurate too but it's not something you should put money on, so to speak. Just try not to stress out unless your doctor told you that you have a reason to be concerned

oh. you're really far. lol. shes just got a big head. ill probably hear rhe same thing friday. ill be 37/38 weeks.. my doctor and ultrasound tech cant agree on a date.. lol
