Had to go get a blood test done today as their is a child at the nursery that was diagnosed with slapped cheek disease, anyone heard or this or been in this situation??

Exactly im the same, blood test was done yesterday so hopefully everythings okay, im sure we will be fine, better to be safe than sorry xxx

Yes @lawamc there's 3 members of staff all pregnant at my nursery and we were all worrying, it's only natural. I'd never heard it so was like what even is it. Ive been feeling him having a kick around in there so I've been trying not to get worked up about it it will just stress him out at the end of the day xx

I am in the exact same position. There's a child at my work with it and I've got to go for a blood test as a precaution @lawamc apparently the risk is quite low after 20 weeks but gp wants it to check xx

my daughter had slapped cheek a few years ago @lawamc, but I don't know that much about it except she had to be kept off from school for a while. I hope you're ok? xx
