Ladies!! I'm 41 weeks today and had a sweep yesterday and lost my plug this morning!!!! I am praying little miss comes some time in the next 24 hours as I don't want to have to be induced next week.. Anyone got any good stories about loosing there plug and going into labour shortly after?!!!

Had a sweep in the afternoon, lost plug that evening and went into labour. Had baby girl 23 hours later x

I had my sweep at 10.30am and waters and plug went at 10.30 at night only 12 hours later :) xx

I had all my boys the same day I lost plug.. lost plug was followed by contractions.... good luck hun xx

Mucus plug
So I started losing bits of my mucus plug & I know it's normal and can regenerate. The nurse told me it can happen and I still go to 41 weeks (I hope not). But I'm just curious what anyone else's experience with losing it early was in the past, did you still carry until a full 40 weeks? Or did you go a bit early?
