ok so I have a friend who is 23 weeks preganant and according to her they found an infection in her blood and was told that no one can be with her when she delivers for same reason and that she will deliver at 30 weeks instead of 40 how true can this be?
i know there are a few nurses on here who are currently pregnant can any one help with this
thanks ladies i did spoke to her about consulting a different ob for a second opinion
I would tell her to get a second opinion...that sound kind of weird to me
I would be extremely cautious of the validity of this.... Even with severe preeclampsia issues doctors push you till they can't. While a baby's chances for survival are much better now, I can't seem to think of a reason they would take a baby that early. Even when people go into labor that early they try and stop it.
@mrsreneau, not sure what it is she just said an infection in her blood and that not even her bby daddy can be in the room for labor and delivery
